Act 235 Evaluations

As directed by the State of Pennsylvania Lethal Weapons Training Act, individuals seeking a permit to carry a firearm must undergo a psychological evaluation by a licensed psychologist, which includes a clinical interview and personality testing. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Interviews and testing can be conducted in person or virtually. Providers will complete the required form SP 8-200B and submit it to the state.
